Meet Dr. Kumar

Board-certified pediatric dentist Dr. Reshma Kumar grew up in sunny Tampa, Florida. She attended Case Western Reserve University where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. She then packed up and headed to New Jersey to complete her general practice residency at Monmouth Hospital. Finally, she moved to New York to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where she also served as chief resident.

Now, after joining forces with Dr. Kothari, Dr. Kumar is dedicated to helping the patients at 914 Smiles build a foundation for good oral health and she strives to make every visit a fun and positive experience. Dr. Kumar is an active member of the New York Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. When she isn’t working to keep little smiles healthy, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
